I grew up trapping the salt marshes and tributaries of the lower Chesapeake Bay thinking life couldn’t be better, until I received my first shotgun. The thrills and adventures experienced in the woodlots, pastures, and salt marshes of southeast Virginia became the center of my attention and drove me to learn more about the outdoors and the creatures which inhabit it. Soon I bought my first bow and became consumed by all that was wild and rugged. I spent countless hours in the woods watching, listening, learning and shooting daily – rain or shine, hot or cold. Twenty-seven years later I’m still learning.
To make my dreams a reality I needed to have a plan. So, I focused on my education and career, and eventually moved to one of the finest hunting meccas in the lower forty-eight, Montana. My dreams slowly became reality, and I’ve since been able to travel the world with bow and camera in hand.
My seminars, outdoor writing, and photography evolved out of a vision; use my decades of experience to expedite the learning process so dedicated outdoor enthusiast can achieve success in the field.
